Met up with Fate yesterday to Jurong to settle some stuffs and lunch was at Itacho Sushi x Jika Udon @ Jcube. First time trying it and it was a great experience! Combination of Itacho Sushi and Jika Udon (自家烏冬) in one!

Environment was spacious and clean, sofa seats were comfy plus it was about 3pm when we were there, thus it's pretty quiet which is good because I hate crowded places!

Ordered 2 sides to share, 


Some sort of mashed potato with smoked duck into a ball, deep fried and comes with a sauce which is something like mayonnaise! Pretty good because it was piping hot and crispy plus the taste wasn't too overwhelm! 

Not much of a unique dish because the taste just doesn't attract me but the sashimi was very fresh though! I prefer those thick slice of sashimi dipped into mayo! *-* HAHAHAHA! :D


Feels like pouring the soup into a bowl of Japanese rice! Pretty yum overall because we tried each others' udon!


Their soup base is 5 thumbs up, JIN HO JIAK LAH! It would be better if it's slightly less oily but it's still damn shiok with their super smooth and Q udon! The Cha-Shu was very good too, the part of the lean meat is very tender and the amount of fatty meat is perfect - not too much!

Left the Cha-Shu for the last and it was great chewing on them! Shiok shiok! ^-^

Ordered a Caramel Pudding ($3.20) for dessert to share!


Pretty good plus serving size isn't too small, just nice for both of us. Would love it more if it's more smoother. Overall, it's good but it makes me feel like eating tauhuey! EH GIVE ME SOME TAUHUEY! ~ ~ ~

Total bill came up to SGD$43.20 inclusive of all service charges and gst plus a can of coke and sprite! Affordable, I would say. Their service is good plus efficient! We got our drinks, within 3 minutes after placing orders and sides within the next 3 minutes and our udon in the next 4-5 minutes or so! Woohoo, I like!! Definitely going back for more!

Walked around Jcube after the meal, bought some breads from Yamazaki Boulangerie Chaude, a Japanese bakery at level 1 for the family. It was only $8.15 for 3 big breads and 5 mini mochi pastry! Their quality of breads is awesome! Price is around Breadtalk's prices but the standard is just different! Am so gonna try the other flavours the next time I go!

Dabao-ed some puffs from 1A for the family too! :D


Their yam puff is damn good! I like and if I'm not wrong, nothing is above $2 at their stall! Bought 3 puffs back, goreng pisang and sweet potato ball! Nice! Happy Cynthia is Happy! ^-^

And I was saying I want to buy Tauhuey so we went to search and found UU beancurd at Jurong Interchange! Shiok, dabao-ed 5 bowls back straight! :D

Ate the Strawberry flavoured one the night I went back!


Personally, I feel it's bigger servings than the usual beancurd pudding. It's thicker and more flavorful, slightly sweeter than the usual!

Homed at 6 or so and I had gong gong for dinner from mom! :D Sibei happy!
