Welcome to Berlin's Week! HAHAHA! Been meeting up for almost consecutive 10 days and it's all the food, food, food and more food trips! ^_^

Penyet Town for dinner yesterday together with Berlin and her brother!


Intro: Authentic Indonesian Restaurant whom is famous for its delicious Ayam Penyet (Smashed Fried Chicken). Many variety of other smashing dishes such as Iga Penyet (Smashed Beef Ribs) or Udang Penyet (Smashed Fried Prawns). Wide range of menu options at affordable prices with a cozy and comfortable dining ambience. 

Staffs weren't that attentive though there were only 4-5 occupied tables, we stood outside for quite a while before they took notice of us. Were assigned to a table and we placed our orders within 2-3 minutes!

Berlin and her brother got a Sayap Penyet (Smashed Fried Chicken Wings + Rice) each while I got the usual Ayam Penyet (Smashed Fried Chicken + Rice).

The rice were served first and Berlin's Brother poured some dark soya sauce on his rice! Tada, his look-like-dessert rice! HAHAHA!


Our Penyet dishes were served soon after.... without any forks or spoons! Have to search for them ourselves, lol.


For my share, it wasn't served hot and the fried tofu was quite cold! Lucky we didn't order a extra sides of fried tofu or we will rage! Pretty disappointing in my opinion, would prefer the one from Cineleisure's Koufu because the chicken here are quite dry, skin wasn't crispy though the taste wasn't bad.

Total bill was $27.50 including 3 drinks and the good thing was, no GST or service charge!
