First in 2014.

First post in 2014 after being so busy with the previous event for about 12 days and having the sore throat, flu and cough which are not helping at all!

Finally went out to meet my friends after a long while of being busy!

Went to Bugis Junction (#03-12A) on Monday to top up FH rack at BlogShopping before heading to BB to visit Cherlyn whom I didn't see her for about 3 months or so!

Wanted to get a cab to Bugis because the big bag of clothes is really heavy but couldn't get one after 30 minutes so I gave up and walked to the bus stop. Waited for 30 minutes and bus is still not here, flag for a empty cab and it doesn't stop for me. WTF paiseh max!! Continued to wait for a additional 15 minutes for the bus.

Was stuck in a jam after changing to the 2nd bus for like 40minutes and only end up in Bugis at about 4 when I left house at almost 2pm! -____-

Went exploring all the food choices after leaving the stuffs at BS and spent alot of money again! As usual, food drains me dry!

Brought some food to BB to have a mini picnic with Cherlyn and also to pass her Christmas x New Year gift! ^_^

Had Sweet and Sour Chicken Ball from Kkul Dak, bubble tea from Share Tea, Salmon Sushi from Mr. Sushi (Inside Cold Storage). Also had Takoyaki and Inari Sushi which are not in picture!

Had fun catching up with Cherlyn although it was just for 2hrs but it was a nice chat!

Met Priscilla at 7pm whom I also didn't saw after October last year! Accompanied her to shop at Bugis Street as I'm more of the online shopper so I usually don't buy stuffs outside other than groceries!

Had our dinner at Poulet at 8.30pm as we are slightly hungry and wanted a place to seat also!

We were lucky as it wasn't very crowded although it was about dinner time and could get a table easily! ^_^

As we wasn't very hungry, we got a main, 2 sides and a drink to share!

Our sides were served first after about 5 minutes after we ordered! Here's what we had! :D

Cream of Wild Mushrooms and Idaho Potato, $5.80.

One of the best Mushroom soup I ever had! Soup were thick and creamy with bits of mushroom yet doesn't have overwhelming mushroom taste! Suits my taste, love it!!

Truffle Mashed Potato, $5.80.

Always a fan of mashed potato and this is really good! Very smooth and buttery texture and Priscilla says it doesn't really taste like mashed potato because it's very smooth and doesn't have the potato bits texture! Very yummy and also, filling! ^-^

Our main were served when we are in the midst of eating our sides!

Poulet Roti, $15.80 (Half Chicken)

We got their star dish which is honey-glazed chicken with the creamy Mushroom Chardonnay Sauce. It is roasted well with very tender meat which came off from the bones easily and taste were good though I think the sauce could be better!

We got a mineral water to share as they say they doesn't provide ice water.

Service staffs were attentive and polite, food were served fast and prices were reasonable for the quality served too! It's a great visit! :)

Our bill totaled up to $34.35 inclusive of all the gst and service charges!

Walked around awhile more after our dinner and parted ways to go home at 9.40pm as I stubbornly got the chocolate lava cake w ice cream which could only last 5 minutes. Reached home 1 hour plus later with chocolate cake on melted cream! HAHAHA but it was tasty! :D

No pictures of us because I forgot to bring my camera but it was great to meet up with 2 of my closer friends! ^-^
