Posted on 15 August 2015 ♥ Officially 2 more days to my long awaited Taiwan Trip, damn excited already! Can't wait to getaway from SG and really enjoy myself with Zav!03 AUGUST 2015 Back to Mr Prata at No.26 Evans Road for my late dinner with Zav at about 11pm or so after work! ![]() Maggi Goreng ($4) and Chicken Chop ($6), Maggi Goreng was not bad but really not used to Indian Style Chicken Chop, super spicy and tasted pretty weird to me. Fries was good though! Too bad there's only Indian Cuisine left when we was there! ![]() Tuna Cheese Murtabak ($6.50), love the generous amount of cheese and tuna but not the super generous onions because I really dislike onions but overall, still taste good! ![]() Tissue Prata with Milk on the side ($2.50), loves their prata taste and really goes better with milk than curry! Sweet tooth Cyn! Total was $26 inclusive of a Strawberry Lassi and a Mango Lassi! Quite cheap because we was so damn full after that! Zav sent me home after that because I had to work the next day! 04 AUGUST 2015 After work dinner is at Newton Food Centre again at 11pm. We had the very awesome Pad Thai! Damn good, love the Thai food there! ![]() Also had Stingray and Salted Egg Chicken that were both just average and I didn't took pictures of them either! >_< Our dinner the next day was also at Newton and here's what we had! ![]() Very average tasting Satays, Otah and BBQ Wings. 07 AUGUST 2015 Dinner with Zav at One More Steamboat & Teppanyaki Buffet @ Hill V2 at probably 6pm+! It was a steamboat buffet which was $63.77 for 2 pax inclusive of 7% GST because no service charge, yay! The staffs there were really polite though despite there is no service charge. Enjoyed the amount of different meats we had and some lobster balls etc! There's even chilli crabs with Mantou which was not bad and the Kong Ba was seriously good, love it! We also did order Grilled Chicken Chop and BBQ beef from the Teppanyaki station and it was really yummy as well! Also love the yam ice cream there that I have 3 scoops just for myself after we are done with our meal! HAHAHA! Went back home happily after the meal! SO DAMN SATISFIED! 08 AUGUST 2015 Both me and Zav didn't have to work so we woke up probably around noon and had our really late brunch at Itacho Sushi @ Star Vista around 3.30pm! Didn't really over-order but still 9 dishes not including drinks! >_< ![]() Roasted Egg w Curry Lobster ($4.50), light curry taste yet overall, complements each other really well! Oishi! Salmon Sashimi ($3.90), Curry Pork Chop Rice ($13.50), not bad but still can't compare to my favourite Coco Ichibanya Curry Rice!! Roasted Salmon w/Cheese ($3), delicious as well! ![]() Smoked Duck Croquette Ball ($3.80), very well fried without being too oily and really distinctive smoked duck taste in the croquette! Sauce that comes along with it goes very well with the croquette ball too! Tiger Prawn w/Curry and Lobster Roll ($8.50), one of the best for the whole meal! Very crunchy yet not too dry with the salad on top of each pieces. Salmon Salad Lobster Roll ($3.20) and Deep Fried Beancurd ($4.80), one of the better ones around, wish the sauce was more flavourful though! And the one that came after we finished everything and feeling 99% full is the Wagyu Beef Roll ($12) ![]() Generous beef slice but didn't really like the overall taste so boo! Total bill inclusive of a lime juice and apple juice was $74.35 in total! Quite alright because we had so much food but really time to cut down on our crazy eating habits like anyhow order at restaurants! Time to really save up for real. Randomly went to ECP with Zav around midnight and we just walked around having some h2h chats while watching lots of people camping. Great time though! Back to Zav's house after that! 09 AUGUST 2015 Cleaned up Zav's room after we woke up around 11am or so and went to his house nearby to get our brunch at 1pm! So happy to have Zav's room revamped a little! Dinner with Zav's parents at A-One Claypot House @ Seletar Mall after we tried it few days ago and thinks it was good! Expected to queue for abit when we reached at 8+ but surprisingly not too crowded and we could easily get a table and have our orders served fast when we reached! Here's my Strawberry Float ($6.90) that was served 5 minutes with everyone's drinks after we ordered! ![]() Not a fan of fizzy drinks but anything with ice cream is good! HEHEHE! Here's the food we ordered which makes all of us K.O after we were done since Zav and his parents have small appetites! ![]() The 'Jiang Nan' Style Noodle ($13.90) which we wanted to intro to Zav's parents and it was still as good! Deep Fried Fish w Salted Egg Yolk Sauce ($19.90), Fish was well fried, just quite tasteless because it couldn't absorb the salted egg yolk taste so slightly disappointing! Sweet & Sour Pork ($17.90) because we had the chicken one previously and this is very good too! Super flavourful and sweet! Love it! Mushroom and Minced Meat Claypot Rice ($12.90) for Zav's papa and he finished the whole pot himself, *salute*! Minced Meat and Assorted Eggs Porridge ($10.90) with Youtiao ($1.20)! Bigger pot than it looks, Zav's mama, Zav and me had a hard time finishing it but it was good though! Very flavourful and youtiao goes the best with it! Plus all the eggs that I major love; Century Egg, Salted Egg and Egg! Woo! Salted Egg Yolk Scallop ($19.90), best dish of the night! Everyone says it was good and it really do taste good! Very jip bi with very shiok salted egg yolk sauce! HAHAHA! Total bill was $138.65 inclusive of all charges and it was Zav's treat! Xiexieni Mini Soo! :D Labels: Food |
