Not the first post in 2016 but the first post about events that happened on 2016! Been staying home so often because currently, there's a painting project going on in my house and it's crazy painting everyday! Really cannot tahan the smell of the paint but gonna have to tahan for a prettier looking house.

02 JANUARY 2016!
Early dinner with the B at like 4.30pm because I had my lunch early so I was hungry around 4pm! Zav drove us down to Bukit Batok because I was craving for Hokkien Mee.

Went to the wrong coffee shop instead of the one we look up online to go for the hokkien mee.

Looks really plain but the Hokkien Mee was seriously very good, even Zav who is not a fan of Hokkien Mee, loves it! The gravy was so damn yummilicious and chilli was good as well!

Zav ordered some pig organ soup and I asked him to order pig instestine which was my favourite so I could eat as well, HEHE!!

Not too bad but it's quite funny how the pig instestine doesn't have any fats, it's like mostly skin only!

Went to walk around the area because I was too full, walk to digest before we drove to IMM and did some shopping at Giant because Zav gave me $200 vouchers, woohoo!

Spent $60+ at the supermarket before we head home!

11 JANUARY 2016!
Zav was on leave so we went to Koh Grill & Sushi Bar at Wisma for our late lunch x early dinner at 4pm+ since we had a late breakfast.

Was craving for Shiok Maki so much that we had to make a trip down to Koh Grill to satisfy my cravings, hehe!

Managed to get a bar table because I still don't like to sit on a 4 pax table with strangers!

And the food we ordered which was all served pretty fast except for the fish!

Pidan Tofu ($4), still as good, just slightly watery than usual and lots of spring onions which I hate!!! But it still tasted good! Katsu Curry Rice ($12), we had the pork one and it's pretty good, curry sauce was quite nice! Still love my Jap Curry best from CoCo Ichibanya but this was really not bad!

Crappy Maki ($18), lots of fish roes but it's really spicy, a little too spicy for me so I didn't really like this. GindaraYa Special ($16), the dish that we waited the longest for but a pity it tasted fishy and even the salad tasted like .... The only good thing was the sauce on top. So disappointing!

And the reason we came all the way for, SHIOK Maki 2nd Generation ($16.80). Still as good as usual and so happy with the generous sauce and fish roe! Love it!

Had a drink each and bill came up to $73.85 including GST as they don't charge service charge.

Went to Takashimaya to walk around and bought some durian cakes for our mom before we head back to my place!
