Posted on 01 June 2016 ♥ 24 MAY 2016! Lunch w Mummy at the hawker centre near Si Ma Lu and I had my favourite Indo Ayam Panggang which was only $3.90! Still as good as usual, sauce were good and chicken was tender and flavourful, yumz!! Mummy had San Lau Hor Fun from the Tzi Char stall. Bought some dried goods before we went to get a Blueberry Angel cake from Baker's Ville at Bugis Street. It was $9.90 for the above whole cake. Cake was light but couldn't really taste much of the blueberry since it was just the outer coating and I didn't like the coconut flakes as well. 29 MAY 2016! Woke up at like 5plus AM despite sleeping at like 3plus, couldn't get back to sleep after that so I just rolled around till 8plus whereby Zav woke up and decided to bring me out for breakfast because I was hungry. Drove to Chinatown for our Soya Sauce Chicken but couldn't get a lot so we decided to head to Ang Mo Kio instead! Crazy amount of vacant lots and there was a long queue from the Kuey Chap stall, so glad that the long queue was not for 金记香港烧腊。烧鸭。油鸡面家 which we went there for! Here's what we had for our brunch at 10.10am! Roasted Platter which consist of Char Siew, Roast Duck and Roast Pork! Famous was the duck but what I really love was the crazily crispy yet juicy Roast Pork, damn good!!! Soy Sauce Chicken Drumstick Noodle, Chicken was really good as well, sooooo tender! Noodle was a tad too salty for my liking but overall, it was still good! Whole meal including a plate of rice was only $13, really affordable!! So filling and satisfying meal, damn happy! Zav brought me to get some stuffs for Mom and we went back to his place to nap at around 1pm till 3pm where we bathed and head out with Zav's family at almost 5pm! It was Zav's Papa Birthday and we decided to bring the family to Two Chefs Eating Place at 116 Commonwealth Crescent for dinner! Wasn't very crowded at 5.30pm so we got a table really quickly and placed our orders soon after. Food were served really fast, like 5mins after we ordered. San Lau Hor Fun (Medium, $9), serving was huge and it was one of their signature dish! Tasted really good, with generous serving of beansprouts and fish slices. Personally, I like the kuey tiao more than everything else of the dish, very flavourful! Meat Floss You Tiao (Small, $8), my favourite dish of the night. Crispy yet not oily, goes well with the sweet mayo! Stir Fried Kailan (Small, $8). Butter Pork Ribs (Medium, $12), one of the star dishes and it's quite special to have it sweet with the milk powder instead of the usual savory type! Pork Rib was tender and not dry at all, worth a try! Salted Egg Chicken (Small, $10), not bad. Golden Mushroom Beancurd (Small, $8), quite good as it tasted just right, not too salty! Sauce goes really well with white rice. Food were all pretty good and prices are also very reasonable for the serving size. Bill was only $56.50 including 3 bowls of white rice! Can't wait to go back to try the other dishes. Went to get some baibai stuffs before heading back home after the great meal! Labels: Food |
