Posted on 29 March 2013 ♥ Another meet up with Peh on Monday at Bugis because we live too far apart so it's always town or bugis to meet up for us! It was also a mini birthday celebration for Peh which was more like a eat and shop day!Met up at 4pm+ because it was a super impromptu decision to meet up and both of us reached about the same time so we didn't have to wait for each other! Woohoo! Decided to have our late lunch and early dinner at Kazokutei because they have the lunch promo till 5pm and it was also one of my favourite dining place at Bugis Junction! :D

Placed our orders pretty fast after we received the menu because we were pretty hungry and good thing was the food were served fast too since there wasn't much people at that time! Here's our drinks which was served first! 
My Blue Coral Soda x Peh's Mango Soda! ($2 with any meal purchase, usual $3.90)
And we ordered 2 mains to share, as usual! I love sharing food because I could eat a variety of food! HAHAHA! ^-^ 
Seafood Cream Udon, $10.90 (Lunch Promo)
My new favourite of Kazokutei! First try because I ordered the wrong one and got this instead but this is sooooooo good! Feels like the watery version of cream based pasta which I ultra love! The broth is really creamy and sweet, cabbage is soft and slightly crunchy, udon is super Q and chewy, the other ingredients are all a bonus because this bowl of cream udon was already damn good! New love!! Gonna go back for more of this soon! :D :D 
Fried Ebi + Pork Cutlet Omu Set, $11.90 (Lunch Promo)
Not my first try on the omu rice already, standard was still good! Love the fried ebi the most, very sweet and tasty but wasn't crispy as some of the parts where the omu rice sauce was poured on is pretty soggy! Pork cutlet wasn't as good as Ma Maison but it's still pretty alright! Overall was good but because the cream udon was so good, I just concentrated on wiping the cream udon clean! HAHAHA! Total bill came up to $31.55 inclusive of all the extra charges! Pretty affordable for the 2 of us! I love cheap and good food! :D Went to walk around because we were quite full and went over to Blogshop Boulevard to top up the rack! HAHAHA BB is almost like my 2nd home in Bugis! LOLOL! Walked around Bugis Street after topping up the rack to accompany Peh to shop around and bought her a pair of shoes for birthday present because I have trouble deciding what to buy so I brought her to shop instead! Mega smart but like boxim! :( She did give me $2 because we weren't supposed to send shoes as a gift! Spent our time at Bugis street till about 9pm before we fetched Cherlyn off work and went to Aloha Ma Maison for desserts! ^_^

It was near closing time when we reached so we quickly placed our orders! 2 desserts to share within the 3 of us! :D Here's what we had! 
Waffle w Mixed Fruits and Ice Cream, $14.90.
A little too much whipped cream for my liking, ice cream was normal, waffle was quite good but not the best! Overall was alright, nothing much to rave! Finds the price slightly pricier than the usual waffle w ice cream! 
Mixed Berries Tart, $7.80!
Too much berries, too sour! HAHAHA, prefer the Strawberry Blueberry tart! This was good too but still, a little too sour for me! >_< Total bill inclusive of the extra charges were around $27 for the 3 of us which comes up to $9 each, quite pricey for the food standard! It's time for more Createaf Waffles! HAHAHA! Went separate ways home after that because Peh has work the next day! |
