Posted on 04 March 2015 ♥ Met up with Cherlyn on Monday, so unlucky that my period have to come before I head out! >:(Selfies at home before heading out because I had to wait for Cherlyn to finish her dental appointment before meeting her at town. Met at Orchard Central at about 3.30pm before we went to Lady M for our lunner (Lunch + dinner). Wanted to have our lunner at 49seats and desserts at Lady M but 49 seats was closed and will only be opened at 5.30pm so we decided to have both desserts and main meal at Lady M to save the troubles.

Not a peak hour when we reached so we could get a table without waiting for long but it was already considered pretty crowded when we were there. Had our cakes served at a go with our mains because Cherlyn wanted to take photos of them together and the food were served pretty fast after ordering. Down part was it's very hard to get the staffs' attention especially when we wanted to order our food. Here's what we ordered and was served in less than 10minutes after ordering. ![]() Cherlyn order the The Lady's Benedict ($12) for her main, with turkey ham. ![]() We shared our mains so we had a piece each. Egg wasn't very well poached but it was really runny though. Overall, it's worth a try! I ordered the Chicken & Mozzarella Panini ($16) which comes with chips and salad. ![]() Gave Cherlyn a piece of the Panini in exchange for her Egg Benedict, this is how we always share food whenever we dine together. Chicken is really tough and Cherlyn says it has this pizza taste but overall, it's still very dry so not really recommended! Salad was pretty good though, very appetizing as it's more on the sour side! And we had 2 slices of cakes for our desserts! ![]() Cherlyn pick the Gateau Au Chocolat ($8.50) which features alternating layers of dark chocolate sponge cake, and crushed walnuts folded into a velvety chocolate mousse. ![]() Not a chocolate fan as usual but this is really good! It tasted just right overall, without being too sweet nor too bitter as the chocolate mousse balance out with the dark chocolate sponge cake. Couldn't decided to have the famous Mille Crepe Cake or Strawberry Shortcake but after thinking for awhile, I picked the latter because the strawberry fan in me never dies. ![]() It was $9 per slice! The vanilla sponge cake was so fine and almost like mousse, cream was so addictive like you don't get sick after having a few mouthfuls. Not too sweet and tasted really light with bits of strawberries! One of the best Strawberry Shortcake that I've tried, value for money! Total bill came up to $53.55 inclusive of GST and service charges. Food especially the desserts were really good though it's slightly pricier than the usual, wish there were more staffs so we didn't had to wait for 10minutes just to get our bill for us to make payment. Or they could leave something like a billboard like some restaurants where we could head to the counter to pay with it. Passed a staff the money with the bill and waited pretty long, probably another 10mins till we head to the counter to collect our change but another staff misunderstood that we wanna leave without paying. What a day. Accompanied Cherlyn to Braddell MRT to collect her items from a seller before we head to Dhoby Ghaut because I suggested to try Nookie Yoghurt, despite my period. Buey kia si. It was raining rather heavily when we reached The Cahay so we had to wait for awhile for the rain to stop before we could walk over to PoMo!

Shared a cup of Apple Berry Pie because we were still full from the meal earlier on, around 1hr back only. ![]() It was $6.90 but if you follow their instagram account and show the service staffs, it's $6.20 (10% OFF). They are really generous with the toppings and it's really filled with apple sauce and the crumbs/nuts. Finds it a little too overwhelming and would prefer more yoghurt. Overall, it's a little too sweet for my liking but still, it's worth a try! Wefies with Cherlyn while trying our cup of yoghurt. ![]() First wefies with Cherlyn, without my fringe. Still thinking to leave my fringe out or to cut it back to bangs! Walked back to Plaza Sing to shop for a little at Daiso and we actually spent almost an hour there. Sampat as usual and decided to head home at around 8plus because Cherlyn was feeling sleepy due to waking up too early that day. |
