Hadn't been home very often lately thus, the lack of updates. Went Bangkok with Zav last week and coincidentally, the last day in BKK is our monthsary too! Didn't even realize it when we book our air tickets!

Went BKK on Tuesday via Scoot whereby they only have afternoon flight. Oh well, can accommodate everything because Scoot have the best seats among budget airlines!

Woke up on time except that Zav overslept slightly which was fine because we were only intending to leave our house at 2pm. Due to sudden rain, we decided to leave house earlier than planned in case we are late even though our flight was at 5.35pm. #Kiasu #SingaporeanConfirm

Had a random slight fever before I left house and I sneezed all the way from my home till I reached the airport. Lucky my nose is still intact!

Reached Terminal 2 at 2.30pm or so, feels great to be early because we don't have to rush and all! Checked in our luggages and went to have our brunch at Coffee Kaki!

Shared a noodle soup and also a serving of Kaya x Butter Toast which was so good that Zav decided to order another serving!

Went to the gate after our meal and got to board the aircraft without waiting for long. Time passed really fast when we are together because we are both talkative people.

Got our window seats so it's wefies time though we both didn't have contact lens on! Didn't dare to put much foundation too because I had really dry skin at that period of time. So bad that my skin is flaking, no joke!

The flight left 5mins earlier than scheduled which was a good thing and it's BYE Singapore time for 3-4 days!

Didn't get a wink on the 2.5hrs flight, we just chatted our way till we reach Don Muang Airport at 7plus local time. Amused by how much we could talk about or just poking fun at each other. Still an enjoyable flight though we were feeling hungry about 30mins before we reached BKK.

Airport clearance were quite fast since it was not the Suvarnabhumi Airport which is always way too crowded.

Didn't had to wait for long till we collect our luggages and some annoying people are just not thankful. Let them cut our queue since they had more luggages and instead of saying thanks, they just gives us a judgemental face like wtf, I feel like slapping prata on their face.

Bought our data cards at 290Baht (SGD11.60) each, because I'm pretty much a Instagram addict as Zav says. Unlimited data for 7 days inclusive of 100baht free calls, worth the money!

We were really hungry after queuing for our data cards which took about 15mins and the taxi queues were so insane! We spent like 30mins or so just to queue and another 30mins to our hotels, were so hungry that we could literally eat a cow! Not kidding man!

Reached our hotel at about 9pm local time, checked in and left our luggages in the room then immediately went out for our dinner since our brunch weren't very filling.

Went to takeaway some street food nearby our hotel, about a 5mins walk and because we reached really late, there wasn't much choices already but we still managed to get quite alot of food! Actually we overbought because we were so hungry that we wanted to eat everything but ends up, we still have a little leftover! Oh oh!

Here's our dinner!

4 sticks of meatballs etc at only 10Baht (SGD0.40) each, 2 sticks of grilled pork which was also 10Baht (SGD0.40) each and 2 sticks of bbq chicken wings at 10Baht (SGD0.40) each. Also Fried chicken drumsticks and fried chicken thigh at only 50Baht (SGD2), one of my favourite kind of grilled fish at only 100Baht (SGD4) and a bowl of super shiok tomyum soup which was so freaking spicy but super good, 100Baht (SGD4) too!

Our super filling dinner was only about 330Baht (SGD13.20), love street food totally!

Went to bed at about 2-3am after unpacking our luggages because we were too full after finishing up the food and we still could have so much to chat about before we sleep. Power!

*****Day 2*****

Wanted to wake up early but were too sleepy to wake up despite alarms so we woke at almost 10am local time. Nua for a little while more till we finally got less lazy and left the bed then went to wash up. Bathed and prepare then went to the famous wanton mee stall which was just a short walk away from our hotel.

  Sabx2 Wanton Noodles
4/32-33 Soi Petchburi 19 | Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand

Was lucky that we don't have to queue or wait for more than 2 mins because people after us had to wait for quite awhile till they get a table.

Didn't really enjoy the meal because the seats were so cramped and pretty awkward to share a table w 2 other strangers so we couldn't really speak freely.

Ordered a Braised Pig Trotter Rice and a Wanton Mee (Dry), at 110Baht (SGD4.40) in total.

Tried it once before but never finds it nice since I takeaway previously so wanted to try again w Zav this time at the shop. Prices are considered average at 50baht (SGD2) for the above though portion is really small, can be done in 4-5 mouthful. Wanton is pretty good though but I finds the wanton mee very overrated, nothing too fantastic.

Braised Pig Trotter was quite nice as the meat is really tender though it's a tad on the salty side in my opinion but still worth the try! Likes this better than their famous wanton mee.

Went to walk around the Pratunam market but didn't manage to buy much except 3 pairs of working pants for mom and 6 T-Shirts for myself, woohoo!

Takeaway some street food back to the hotel room after that! Got my favourite crepe with sweetened egg and egg. I'm such a egg person, aigoo.

It was only 50Baht (SGD2) for such a big crepe, love it! Yehet!

Also bought quite a few of the fried stuffs from the fish bomb's stall. Sausage, Fried Wanton w Quail egg, Thai fishcake, fishballs and meatballs. 6 sticks for only 120Baht (SGD4.80).

Just 2 kind of food and we were really full, till the point of puking wtf.

Went out and walked over to Platinum Mall which is about a 10mins walk away plus just nice, for us to digest our food!

Zav bought quite a bit of singlets and T-shirts because I kept suggesting and he is the kind of people who is alright with anything and just buy because I suggested! >_< I think he bought more than 15 tops and few pairs of berms in a less than 2hrs shopping! Had bubbletea to quench our thirst, damn shiok at only about $2 per cup! Yehet!

Had quite a few bags to carry and felt that we bought enough so we head to Red Mango for my favourite waffle!

Waffle w Strawberry Yoghurt and toppings of Strawberries, candy and mango! Had the above only for 139Baht (SGD5.56).

Always loving the waffle here, super crispy on the outside and really fluffy on the inside with sufficient egg-y taste. 10 out of 10! Yoghurt is really light yet doesn't melt too fast and goes very well with the waffles, I could eat this everyday, not kidding!

Was so full after that! Thankful for Zav who accompanies me to whatever I want to eat though he is not a fan of sweet stuffs.

Walked back to the hotel after that to put down our stuffs and nua a little while before taking the tuk tuk to Big C Supermarket! Our first Tuk Tuk ride for this trip!

Bought some tidbits, food for us to eat back at hotel and even shampoo etc. Spent almost 2000Baht (SGD80) if I didn't remember wrongly. Super kuazhang, IKR! But we bought the salmon sashimi which I major love from the supermarket!

Decided to walk the night market which was just outside Big C, bought some pouches and more singlets etc till both of our hands were filled! We still managed to get some street food back to our hotel room for our dinner although our hands were breaking and it was a pretty long walk from Big C to our hotel!

Unload our stuffs in the hotel room before we head to takeaway more street food for our dinner and here's what we had!

Got some sort of Rendang Chicken from a Mixed Veg rice stall and a big serving was only 40Baht (SGD$1.60). Tasted really good, can fight with my mom's standard. Zav said it was one of the best tasting food he tasted in BKK. SLURP!

Also bought 9 sticks of the kebab; 3 sticks of chicken, 3 sticks of pork and 3 sticks of beef! All were so good! So tender and well marinated, sweet enough too! Missing it now! So good yet it's only 10Baht (SGD0.40) each! They had this layer of fats on every kebab which was so good! SEX!!

Also got 2 Otah at 25Baht (SGD$1.20) each in Crab and fish, a little overly spicy for me and even a bit too spicy for Zav! Eh wah, but it was quite shiok though!

And my favourite BBQ wings from my favourite stall! Very well marinated and super tender!

These were more than enough to fill us up and we had a little leftover of the rendang chicken and otah because we were too full!

Decided to pack all our buys into the luggage first because I am ganchiong like that and because of this, I spoiled Zav's surprise for me which he kept in his luggage! HAHAHAHAHA! He kept saying tomorrow then pack but I am those ganchiong type so I was like 'just pack today one first, tomorrow confirm will buy stuffs one' then die die wanna pack while he block me off.

In the end, I was so stubborn so I found the surprise and we were in a awkward silence for like 5mins because we both didn't know how to react. HAHAHAHAHA FML FHL FOL.

Zav told me how the surprise he planned was supposed to be but in the end, I exposed his surprise! HAHAHA. Sorwie B! U_U

Still very thankful because I actually didn't even expected it neither did I prepare anything, what a asshole I am! >_<

It was a Swarovski necklace and in my favourite blue color! Thank you again!

Rest a little while after the awkward incident before we start to eat the salmon sashimi and pizza bread which we bought from Big C!

Crab meat Pizza bread at like 29Baht (SGD1.20). Surprisingly good! The mayo was sweet and the bread had those pizza kind of texture! Super worth the money because it was such a big slice! YAY!

DENG DENG DENG! My favourite Salmon Sashimi, 15 slices was for less than 300Baht (SGD12). Really quite fresh and thick enough! Eh wah, I love it!!

Chatted for awhile before we fell asleep because we slept really late the night before!
