Posted on 26 August 2015 ♥ Back from a really fun Taiwan trip with the B, downside was I was really sick when I was back. Just slightly better now and I have already started working yesterday and so glad I managed to survive!16 AUGUST 2015 A day before we left for the airport, we decided to dye and cut our hair at my favourite Real Salon! Appointment was at 12.30pm and we reached Bedok early since we managed to wake up early so we head to Bedok Interchange to have our brunch! Love the newly renovated hawker centre because it isn't as stuffy and hot as before.

Zav's Duck Rice Set!
Simple meal but so satisfying! Had a bowl of shaved ice each after our main and we head to dabao some small snacks to the salon to eat while we dye our hair! Also bought some food for Kelly and Jim-ge! Managed to got our hair dyed red and have my hair and fringe trimmed! Zav also managed to get his bad hair fixed which screwed up when he went for reservist, thanks Jim ge! Yay yay and we head to Bedok Mall after that for our early dinner! Decide to dine at Canton Paradise at probably 5pm and here's what we ordered although I wasn't hungry at all!  2BBQ Combination ($18.80) which we picked Roasted Duck and Roasted Pork! Both were really good but wished their sour plum sauce was better! Fish Skin w Salted Egg Sauce ($7.80), very generous portion and really crispy as well with distinctive salted egg yolk taste but really too salty for me. Tofu w Salt & Pepper ($5.80), very well fried without being oily but still a little too salty for me! Prawn and Mango Fritter ($5.80), my favourite! One of the best Prawn & Mango Fritter around! We actually ordered Xiao Long Bao and Liu Sha Bao but took really long time and wasn't served because the kitchen didn't receive our order so we canceled our order for that and ended our meal with 4 dishes and 2 drinks @ $52.73 inclusive of all charges. Went back to Zav's place after that because both of us were so sleepy since we woke up early yet we slept really late the night before. Some wefies at 6+ with our new hair even though we could K.O anytime!  Literally K.O after that till midnight 12 and we decided to head for supper at CCK 302 as Zav is sending me home! Here's my bar chor mee while Zav had his You Ji Mian!  Still tasted really good as before! Yumz! Zav sent me back at around 2AM and eventually, we decided to just get some of the stuffs which I need to bring over for Taiwan and head back to his place so we could really pack everything together the next day!

Woke up at 8am because there was renovation work going at Zav's block and water supply to cut off at 9am but turns out, whole day also got water what! WTF.Zav went out and bought our brunch when he came back! I had Mee Hoon Kuey while he had his usual Nasi Lemak! Went to pack our luggage after our meal because we are just intending to bring a big luggage with all the smaller luggage or bags in it! Had our dinner at around 7pm which was a packet of maggie each because I was so lazy to head out to eat! And while waiting for 9pm to come so we could leave for the airport, random wefie time!

Left Zav's house at 9pm and managed to reach the airport at 9.30pm or so and there was already long queue of people for check-in when the flight was at 12.45am! Received a giftpack each when we check-in, yay! Lucky we didn't purposely head down to the Taiwan Tourism Board in SG before the trip!   Consist of a pouch like the above, map, a Octopus card (Taiwan's Ezlink Card) and some Taiwan recommendations brochures in the giftpack! Decided to eat at Subway before our flight since it's a pretty long flight of 4.5hrs! Also our first time eating Subway together because we didn't order ourselves before! HAHA! Suaku!  Zav had the Turkey Ham with Wholemeal or Multi-grain bread, can't remember! With Cheese, Lettuce, BBQ Sauce and extra Egg Mayo ($1.20) and it was really yummy! I had the Teriyaki Chicken with Hearty Italian, my favourite bread from Subway! With Cheese, Lettuce, BBQ and Honey Mustard Sauce and extra Egg Mayo ($1.20) and extra Tuna ($1.20). Super big sandwich but damn shiok! And we got a meal so 2 cookies for us! ^_^ Zav, the poor boy was having diarrhea so he just went in and out of the toilet in the airport but we still managed to take some wefies while waiting for our flight!  And it's BYE SG at 12.45AM! ^_^ Posted on 13 July 2015 ♥ 05 JULY 2015Poor boy Zav had to work the whole Sunday when he had to go for reservist the next day. Sigh, company who doesn't think of their staffs. Supper with the B at 10.40pm after his work at some eating place near his workplace.  Strawberry Tissue Prata which was fairly crispy but really nice that it was coated with sugar on the inside.  Egg and Garlic Prata which was very meh! Loves the tissue prata best! Home after that because Zav had to wake up early the next day to report to camp! 06 JULY 2015 Went to town with mom because I had to collect some cheques before we went for lunch at 3plus at *Scape! Settled down at Fish Tales because the menu looks great and the prices are pretty affordable as well! :) Food came rather quickly after ordering, yay because I was really hungry!  My Salmon Cabonara which I kept raving about the cream sauce! Super creamy plus there's loads of sauce which I love! Salmon was normal but the spaghetti was really good, it was $7.90 for this plate of goodness!!  Mom's Fiery Sambal ($8.90) which was quite good as well, not too oily and comes with loads of chips as well! :) Went to Takashimaya after that and bought lots of small snacks before we went home! Zav came over around evening for dinner because he got to book out! 10 JULY 2015 Eve of Mom's birthday and she got a day off from work so we head out to FEP to have lunch together which we had a bowl of noodle each. Went to Watsons after that for mom to choose her gift because I was tasked by Zav to accompany mom to get what she want and claim from him after that as his gift to her for her birthday. Went for dessert at Icee Oasis, also at FEP. Shared a bowl of Mango Icee at $4.90 :)  Not bad and the ice cream was good as well! Head to Goodwood Park Hotel after that which was just beside FEP and got some cakes to takeaway from the Deli, also Zav's gifts to mom as well because I already paid for the buffet dinner for 5 of us upfront already. Went home after that to eat what we got from the Deli! Here's some of the desserts that we bought!  Mao Shan Wang ($13.70 after GST, no credit card discount for it). Mom's top favourite, it's really good! Very crispy crust coated with sugar and the durian filling was seriously good! Durian Puffs ($8.55 after GST for 2). Small but very generous durian filling which mom loves! Durian Carrot Cake Slice ($11.75 after GST), not the best carrot cake that I tasted but it was not too bad. Durian Rainbow Ice Cream Cake ($11.75 after GST) which I really really love! The ice cream was really good and the cake was so pretty, so craving for it now!! Total was $49.55 inclusive of GST and a Chocolate Caramel Tart which is not in picture and also a 15% Citibank discount. YAY! So happy to be able to taste nice desserts, thanks to Zav! Posted on 07 July 2015 ♥ 15 MAY 2015 - ZAV'S BIRTHDAY!Woke up around noon and Zav cooked us maggie, luncheon meat and eggs for our brunch despite being the birthday boy! >_<  Unglam birthday boy at 4pm because I randomly brought out the cake while he was in the kitchen. Even broke the very pretty '25' candles so had to substitute it with another not so pretty '25' candles. Still his first birthday that we spent together!   Gifts for the B which I prepared for him but he have already gotten it the day before! Pictures from Zav's Instagram! A customized wallet which I got it online, really cute and the quality is pretty good as well! Also a booklet which is 25 pages long that I spent quite some time on it, wooden key chain and a customized shaver which can't work!!!! :( Waited for Zav's mama to come home from work before we head our together for Zav's birthday dinner at Tunglok Xihe Restaurant. Such a pity that Zav's papa had to work so he couldn't join us! Zav drove us over and we reached around 6pm, just nice for our reservation!

We pre-ordered a Peking Duck when making the reservation so we didn't have to wait for too long at the restaurant! It's $76 in total for the whole Peking Duck whereby the chef would cut it infront of you. The remaining bones would be fried in a way you prefer for you.

Not the best though the Peking Duck was highly raved, found it not bad but not something I would pay $70+ for. Ordered 3 glasses of the free flow Herbal Tea but I seriously cannot take the taste so I ordered another Fresh Orange Juice @ $6! Also got some other dishes too!  Egg White w Mapo Tofu ($14). Quite spicy but I didn't really like it overall. Drunken Chicken Roll ($12), still not a fan of cold chicken despite many tries at different places. Sliced Pork w Garlic ($10), for the B who is a big fan of garlic! Salted Egg Fish Skin ($10) which was the best of all, I found it better than the duck!! LOVE IT SO MUCH! So damn full that we dabao some of the duck meat and bones fried with Cereal back! Total bill was $164.80 inclusive of all charges and stupid pickle charge at $3. Used the Groupon voucher which I bought online, paying $60 for a $100 voucher so in total, I only paid $124.80! Was so full and we just went back Zav's place to relax till probably 8plus then we head to West Coast Plaza to get some Churros before they closed! 9.22pm achievement!  We bought 6pcs Churros ($7), thinking it was mini-sized churros but end up, it's quite big and filling. Also got double scoops of ice cream at $4 which sucks really bad! Would rather eat the churros without the ice cream! The Churros was really good though, very crispy and fully covered with Cinnamon sugar. Just wished that they didn't have to drizzle chocolate sauce on my dear churros. That's how Zav's actual birthday went, nothing really interesting but just happy to spend time together. 16 MAY 2015 A Saturday whereby both of us didn't have to work so our selfies on the car before we went for lunch at 1pm!   Randomly decide to eat at the hawker centre at Golden Mile and there was a little queue to get in the carpark but we still managed to tahan our hunger till we managed to order our food! We had Thai food for our brunch!

Both were only $11.50! Love cheap yet yummy meals the most! Went for our new activity at Selfie Box! First timer is $18/pax for an hour of photo taking and here's some of the pictures we took!   Head to Banana Tree at 26 Keong Saik Road Singapore 089133 at almost 6pm because we wanted to try their bingsu! Had to wait for a little while, probably 10-15minutes before we could get a table! The desserts served were all really pretty with flowers and mostly in a pot!  Had the Pot Bingsu ($12.50), there's only 1 flavour which I was actually hesitating about because I'm not really a fan of red beans! Luckily it turns out really good, love their ice cream, slightly salty which goes well with the sweet bingsu! Serving is pretty huge as well so we didn't managed to finish all of it!  Also had the Flower Paap in Strawberry flavour ($6.50), it's a pudding in a flower pot! Tasted really good, very smooth and tasted more like a mousse than pudding but it's JINJJA MASHISOYO! No service or GST charge as well, yay! Went back Zav's place after that as we didn't have anywhere that we wanna go! Probably had a nap and so, our dinner was at almost 12am at Boon Tong Kee (Balestier Outlet)  Fried beancurd which was so crispy yet not oily at all, goes well with the mayonnaise and chilli! Prawn Toast which was good as well! Kou Rou ($18) which was all fatty and oily which makes it very gelat, comes with mantou which we only ate 3 because we were too full!  $10 worth of Chicken! Tender yet slightly juicy, very yummy indeed! Total bill was around $64 inclusive of all charges! Always tend to overspend when we are together! >_< Went back to Zav's place after that! Posted on 04 July 2015 ♥ 18 APRIL 2015Zav fetched me around 4pm after his work and random wefie on the car which Zav requested for.  Went to MyVillage at Serangoon Garden for our lunner at Yogiyo Chicken!   3Pcs Hot Soy Chicken + Drink @ $5.90, Combo Meal of 3Pcs Sweet Soy Chicken and the Cheese Ramyun @ $9.90. Chicken Tteokbokki at $5.90, all prices are nett, YAY! The chicken were all really well-fried and well flavoured, Zav loves them! Went for ice cream at Udders which is also located at the same mall even though we were quite full from the meal earlier on.  Had the crispy waffle which was really good with a scoop of Mari kita which was something like Red Velvet and brownie, found it abit too creamy and gelat! Also had a scoop of Rums & Raisins, regretted not getting my usual Strawberry ice cream! The alcohol taste was so mad strong which makes the ice cream really bitter and Cynthia don't like her ice cream bitter. Went back to Zav's place after that and we went out for our dinner + supper at 11pm at Moojaa (220 Upper Thomson Road. It was so empty that we thought it was closed but it wasn't so we had the whole place to ourself throughout the meal!  We had the buffet which includes free flow of drinks and most of the food on the menu! Can't remember the exact total but we paid around $84 for 2 pax inclusive of all charges. Mad stuffed after the meal, reason why I hate buffet sometimes. Back home after that! Can't remember what we did the next day but we did went for supper at Kim San Leng around my house area at almost 12am!

20 APRIL 2015 Woke up at 2pm and got many missed call from work because they wanted me to work so bathed and went for work at 6pm till 1130pm! And it was working every single day through the week, just meeting the B for supper everyday or every 2 days or so! 22 APRIL 2015 Zav fetched me after work and we went for supper at Kim San Leng at around 12AM. Western food again which I had Chicken Chop while Zav had Fish & Chips!   Loves the potato sides! Zav sent me back home after that. 23 APRIL 2015 Noodle for supper for a change at also 12AM plus after my work!  Very generous amount of noodle and the roasted duck which I had and roasted Chicken which Zav had were both really good! Home after that! <:

McDonald's for supper this time round because we are sick of Kim San Leng. Overordered because I was craving for the chicken salad yet I want a burger so Zav being Zav, bought me both! HEHEHEHE! Zav sent me home after that. So thankful to have Zav who kept fetching me home after my work at 1130pm which I could actually took cab home that the company provides but because I was working everyday, he had to come to fetch me so we could meet for a meal at least. Thanks for always putting effort in us. Posted on 02 July 2015 ♥ Had to leave our apartment around 4plus in the morning because our flight back to SG was 7.10am.Had a couple of hours to rest before leaving the apartment but we couldn't get to sleep so I finished up the Salmon Hana sushi which I bought earlier on at the sushi chain outlet for 40HKD (SGD7.27).  DAMN GOOD with generous amount of mayo and fish roe, plus the sashimi slices were really thick as well! LOVE IT!!! Spent the night watching TV and packing up then leaving the apartment at 4am. Reached the airport at 5am and after all the checking etc, we went to McDonald's because I was a little hungry. Order a hotcake meal and got myself a burnt one, boo! Their hotcakes are much thinner compared to those in SG.  Managed to sleep an hour on the flight back, reached SG at around 10.50am. Zav came to fetch us because he had a day off after working overnight the previous day. So thankful for him!  Had the macarons on the ride back which we bought at Langham Place basement. Not cheap though, around SGD4-5 each and didn't taste fantastic as well, boo! Had Zav to help me unpack my luggage while I went to bathe so that we could head out for lunch together! Decided to head to Hai Di Lao for lunch while mom went to sleep. First time there, like 2 total noobs but luckily the staffs there were really nice and friendly!  Enjoyable lunch that was Zav's treat because he said he wanted to treat me to something good when I'm back in SG. Total bill was $88.79 inclusive of all charges, quite okay because we ordered quite alot of meat! Was so full after the meal, hate how we always overeat but we still went for dessert! Bought a cup of Boba Milk from Yi Li Pao Pao to share!  Tasted good, just that it melts really fast! Zav drove us back to his place whereby we unpacked all the food etc which I bought for him and his family then went for a nap from probably 5/6pm till 10pm or so! Took some time to decide where to go for our dinner/supper and we head to KKO KKO NA RA because they are opened till 3am! Went to their previous location as stated online but it was wrong, luckily we managed to find their new address which was not too far away at 68 Tanjong Pagar Road! Great that we didn't have to queue when we reached!  Had the Combo Chicken set which includes Original/Sweet/Garlic Fried Chicken! All 3 were good but I love the sweet one most!  Also had the Kimchi Stew with pork slices and add-on ramen! Damn spicy but super shiok and filling! Zav sent me home after that! |
